  • Kekee, as a local i have stayed in quite a few hotels and this is one of them. If you want to stay in Chinatown, this is a good choice as it's neart Chinatown MRT and you can walk to Temple Street, Pagoda or Smith Street. Very Convenient. Food-wise, it's in Chinatown, so you don't have to worry. Good choice of Dim sum and chinese food. Service is okie i would say, but i like the high tea here. It's value for money.

    This is a good hotet with a great location. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in March 2006 and I will recommend it to any of my friendswho want to visit Singapore. The reasons are: 1/ In the heart of Chinatown. 10 minute walk to Chinatown night market. 2/ Free shuttle bus to Orchard Rd . 3/ Plenty of Chinese food options from cheap breakfast to expensive dinner, just walk across the street ! 4/ 5 minute walk to Chinatown MRT station. From there you can get to Sentosa, Jurong Bird Park ...easily. 5/ Good service, quality room, reasonable price. 6/ Clarke Quay is a 10 minute walk away and from there you can take a river cruise. 7/ What more do you want ?

    Great location for everyone, not only for tourists who prefer to be near Chinatown.

    When you are in foreign land, the best thing you can have is smiles. The staff is helpful and makes you feel at home. The rooms are big and cosy. I like the lobby most:)

    The design and the lounge is a good place to meet people. The view towards the sea is the best

    This hotel is very clean in general. The beds are made and the room is cleaned everyday. In our room (superior) there are A/C, mini bar, TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, electronic safe, hair dryer, ironing facilities. I am quite happy with this hotel. The room is large and has a good view of the streets in Chinatown (we stayed on the 7th floor) .

    The architecture is unique. It looks amazing from afar. The Furama City Centre is one landmark that is hard to miss when you’re in Chinatown. It’s located right in the heart of one of Singapore’s colourful thoroughfares. Quaint streets surround the hotel with unique shops offering souvenirs and great buys. There are also several food stalls and restaurants to satisfy your hunger or craving for local dishes.

    The hotel is nice. It gives you the feeling of warmth and glow at the same time. It’s worth staying here. You’ll really feel you’re in Singapore when you stay in Furama because it’s near the recommended places to visit.

    Stayed on Dec 22-24, 2004. We got high 18th & 19th Floor. The view are great!! The room are big and I am very impressed with the bed, it's king size 200 x 200 cm. The service were very good.

    The hotel location is in China Town, it took only 5 minutes to go to the nearest shopping center, also to the mrt station. We can walk to the temple of Sri Mariaman, and chinatown district.
