Sleep in Style
I celebrated by Birthday @ The Gallery Hotel's Observatory Suite. It was really cool. I told myself that I'll go back to The Gallery Hotel should I just want to get away from Home for the night.
With Liquid Room (I used to go there quite a bit) just within the hotel and a whole street "Mohammad Sultan" of clubs within walking distance, you know if you're in to club hop or to get drunk... this is the place to stay.
Unique Quality: The award winning architechure. The interior of the hotel is great. The fact that it's one of the first designer hotel in Singapore?
Don't forget your swimsuit. The Gallery's got a great pool

The Gallery Hotel : Funky Boutique Hotel
"The Hotel That Inspires" so claimed the hotel. Everything is done artistically. The architecture of the hotel itself defies all norms. So many twists and turns, and yet done so perfectly. Gaudy colours clashed harmoniously. Your room number is printed on the floor. A pail of sand hanging from the ceiling is your ash tray along the corridors. There are no direct lifts to your rooms - you have to drop by the cafe. The pool on the 5th floor has see through sides. The rooms have translucent walls between the showers and the beds. All in all, uncluttered, zen-like and certainly upliftingly inspirational. Service is warm and professional as well. (Unfortunately, the rooms are a tad expensive for most Asian travellers. The basic Gallery rooms goes for S$295 a night.)

Gallery Hotel
The Gallery Hotel is located at one corner of Robertson Quay. It has a very colorful exterior and interior. It has a creative and cheerful environment and is an unique designer hotel.
Each room is equipped with a SMART panel that allows guests to create their preferred surroundings. Free broadband internet access in each room.
The Gallery is located in the trendy Robertson Quay entertainment district, perched on the bank of the famous Singapore River - a delightful waterfront experience.
The hotel is within walking distance to Clarke Quay where all the pubs and restaurants are.

Hi
Gallery is a boutique hotel and is located around River Valley Road. It's very close to the clubbing belt, known as "Mohammed Sultan Rd".
If you are looking for serious clubbing and some good drinking, you are in the right zone.
I wouldn't say that Gallery Hotel is very near orchard Road, but it's pretty fast to get to town around by taxi, around 5 mins i would say.
Overall it's a cool hotel.

yeap..its hip. with the colours and designs. very clean as well...
the hotels' grt for its location, as it is near the nitespots. thus, its pretty easy for you to navigate ard the area.

Honestly, it is. They've got one of the coolest swimming pool in town. A highrise thingy with glass panels all around. Yup, you can actually see the going-ons on the streets when you swim there.
