The hotel was superb as it hosted lots of groups while we were there ,although the dutch and german teenage girls netball teams were a lot more welcome than the load of bishops who replaced them.
Its no fun coming in off your head and stumbling into a lift full of Bishops.
We terrorized the maid ,ordered endless club sandwiches on the room service and confounded the receptionists by refusing to go to our rooms and attempting to sleep in reception.
The entertainment was a bit patchy although the teenage filipino girls who played Guns and Roses covers were hilarious.
The rooftop pool had a spectacular view over the city and was only slightly marred by some of the Korean businessmen swimming in their transparent white Y fronts , but was a great source of free towels.
I can't recommend the staff highly enough , they'd wait patiently for us to remember which room we were in , smile indulgently while we smuggled people in and out for those after hours parties , and the maid thought it was hilarious when we cranked the air-con up so high that we had to request extra blankets.
The rooftop pool had a brilliant view over the city but was slightly spoiled by Korean businessmen swimming in their underpants.
