How to get the best from Singapore
by sadissa
Sentosa island is a wonderful place where you will forget that you'are still on this earth.
The place to go!! absolutely, if not that wasn't singapore
There you have beach station, butterfly space, image of singapore, the see that sing nice blues and great songs. To get there you reach Vivocity by bus or taxi; you can visit vivocity shops, you can have a drink and a meal, plus fantastic designed grass, water flow!!!!
take the skytrain (3$) to reach Sentosa itself and enjoy your stay there!!!! Attraction!!!!
it's fantastic to go around shops, bugis village and look everything you need. As malls, you have Orchard malls, OG malls, Bugis village (night market; for this one, make sure you ate as it can take you the whole night), China town street, .... Airport shops
Where to stop: National library, Singapore museum, Singopre flyer, Sentosa, Little india in the night, Araba street for carpet...
If you want to save cost: stay in a backpacker (Tresor tavern hostel, 7th storey hotel, Wellcome in backpacker, fragrance backpackers hostel) all of them are clean, cheap with internet connection and very close to everywhere.

Computer Game Addiction
by phil_uk_net
Singaporean youngsters, like their Thai counterparts, are obsessed with computer games. At the Funan IT Mall there are several Microsoft X-Box consoles around the place. I think they might even be free to play but they are always in use. All I know is that they make a hell of a noise and annoy me. Ever since the first ping-pong electronics game machines appeared in the mid to late 1970's when I was at college I have always been bored by games machines.
Chinese New Year!
by Jmill42
As a random stroke of luck would have it, I happened to be in Singapore for the Chinese New Year. AND, in Chinatown! I can't express how cool this was. All along New Bridge Road and all its offshoots, were markets and decorations, it was really amazing to be in.
ALOE VERA
by cmcarney
bring aloe vera for the bug bites, the sun burn and in my extreme case the heat rash. It is very expensive here and I am so mad at myself for forgetting to pack it. you can bring an umbrella but they are really cheap here, so you can stock up on some different designs because you will need them for a little almost every day.
