In Orchard Road
Although this hotel is not in the heart of Orchard Road, it's still within walking distance to Plaza Singapura Shopping Centre, Robinsons and Takashimaya.
It's located behind Le Meridien Hotel.
There's a also pool.

Hotel Grand Central Singapore 4*
Hotel Grand Central is one of the budget hotel along Orchard Rd. The Istana is just 5 mins walk from the hotel.
Enjoy the fabulous shopping at Orchard Road and Somerset area.
Just beside Le Meridien Hotel, there is a food court where you can enjoy some local food.

Budget Hotel at Orchard Road Area
"Value for money" hotel popular with Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai and Filipino business budget travellers and tourists. I stayed here when was on transit in Singapore for a night.
Excellent location at Orchard Road and near Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station as well as the Bus Stations of Orchard Road. Have corporate package deal.
So if budget is tight but wanting an Orchard address, this is a hotel to consider.

midnight issential needs
the place is such good and comfortable...
Basically.. first night i have a headache.. i used to go for the restuarent next to the hotel... it was midnight and all restuarent closed except this one i had my unique cup of tea mixed with thick milk that i 've ever had... try it..in singapore... it's tasty ;)

Overpriced
This hotel was far more expensive than the Summerview, Oxford or Robertson Quay hotels but the quality of the room was pretty bad.
The room smelled like stale smoke mixed with slight mold. I saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom. And there were hairs in the sink, shower, toilet, and bathroom floor. And I'm not just talking hair strands from your head.
The next day, after housekeeping had cleaned the room, I found a new pubic hair in the sink. Gross.
However, the reception is very friendly and the hotel is located right across a hawker center.
Still, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Grand Central Sing.? No!
My stay at this hotel was very much not enjoyable. People willing to pay more than S$ 160/night would definitely expect something much more than what we experienced at this hotel. I've stayed in a S$ 82/night hotel in Singapore and their facilities and services were actually better than Grand Central hotel, you get the standard complimentary things such as bottled mineral water, tea, coffee, sugar. At Grand Central Hotel, you have to buy them yourself, and the TV, you only get..what..3 channels? Also, prepare yourself for a cold freezing night as the aircon is centralized and it gets really cold you can't control the temp. The staff..well..not friendly nor helpful at all. I'd rather pay 10/20/30 dollars more and so I get an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Unique Quality: NO unique qualities whatsoever!

u can try hotel grand central @S$145++ which is consider gd deal being smack right in the city. usually hotels allong orchard is more than yr estimated price. but can also try hotel asia. these 2 not too fancy but fit yr budget i think.
