Chinatown Heritage Centre
by Kristina1701
This centre gives you a very good insight into the history of Chinese immigration into Singapore and about every day life in their new country/Chinatown, about the problems they faced etc.. Walk through their homes and hear what they've got to say.
I'm not that much into museums but I really liked this one very much and will definitely pay it another visit next time I'm in Singapore.
Getting Around

is an invaluable reference someone on VT told me about. You can map any location and find the nearest MRT station.
I found an art store and a park using it so I think its good for about anything.
HOT & HUMID

Singapore is very near the Equator, surrounded by water and HUMID all year round. Plan accordingly. Wear cool comfortable clothes and stop into air conditioned hotels or shops from time to time to keep cool. Or you will look like this guy!
Christmas on Orchard Road
by trisanna
Late November to December is a great time to visit Singapore. They do a very impressive light display. I was really suprised how much money, time and decorations they put into making Orchard Road look Christmasy.
At the tanglin mall they have a display that spits out fake snow. Well it's really soap. But when it's flying in the air, it looks quite realistic. This is done at certain times. Also, a few times a week they have avalanche speed. I didn't see it coming down, but saw some kids covered in soap bubbles. Quite funny-not sure how they got home though. Hope they brought extra clothes.
Raffles city mall down by city hall also decorates.
Reverse bungy jump!!!
by itzypies
Singapore has the GMAX!!! its a reverse bungy jump.. not for the weak of stomach..
the thrill begins when you are ricocheted in the air.. up and down.. side to side..
the ride costs around 30SGD bring a mint or gum :D best to ride GMAX during night time to avoid too much heat..
