We arrived late at night at the hotel, and the service from the start was great. They checked us into the exact room that I had requested (non-smoking, high floor) and everything was spotlessly clean. The room was nice and big, as was the bathroom, which had a shower spa (massaging jets of water that shoot out of the side of the shower) which was great after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. We were on the 27th floor, with a veiw down Orchard Road, which was great. The room was cleaned everyday, and the amenities in the room were beyond what we expected. The hotels has a fitness centre, as well as a pool and pool bar (which we sampled) and a business centre. As you can imagine from a 5 star hotel, anything that you bought from within the hotel was really expensive, but luckily there is a 7/11 just down the road, and heaps of restaurants to choose from. There is also a revolving restaurant on the top of the grand tower and a round bar just underneath it. The view from the bar is spectacular. I would certainly reccomend this hotel to anyone who wants that little bit more out of there hotel.
The view from the bar was a wonderful quality of the hotel, as was the shower-spa. Overall, the hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in.
