Stayed for 3 nights in a premium room
For singapore the standard is very low and does not compare at all. Rooms are very basic, amenities are non existing and the location is bad. There is a Chinese restaurant which I did not try
Unusual for singapore they charge a hefty price for use of internet
If much cheaper than what i paid then ok for quick one night business stay but if you are in singapore to enjoy and relax stay away as you can get much better value for money elsewhere

The River Begins ...
River View Hotel is located along the Singapore river and is only minutes away from Singapore Central Business District and Orchard Road.If you enjoy night life,this may be a good possible accommodation as it is very near to Clarke Quay where many pubs are.

River View Hotel
River View Hotel is located at Havelock Road. The Zouk Disco is just nearby. You can conveniently catch buses to Orchard Road, Chinatown and Mohd Sultan area.
Try taking breakfast at the River Garden coffeehouse and order Bak Kuet Teh (pork ribs cooked with with spices, garlic and pepper in a tasty soup that is served with yam rice and/or fried dough fritters.
I used to work at the reception and housekeeping during my hotel attachment.
Staff are friendly and they do have a swimming pool. Price is about a 4* hotel. Per rooom night will cost about S$150. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Across the street is Copthrone Kings, Mirama Hotel, Apollo Hotel, Concorde Hotel. Grand Copthrone Waterfront is just around the corner.

value for money
Stayed in the deluxe room n it's not bad.
The junior suite is a real value for money. Standard , it comes with a living area n a room. The best part is it comes with a whirlpool.
surprising coz Shang didn't have that.
Saw that Indonesia chinese and Japanese find it quite a gd deal. The staff r also pleasant. It's located near Zouk , one of Singapore partying scene.
