Fantastic Serviced Apartments!
We've just returned home after a week in Singapore for our son's wedding. Where can we start to describe the quality of Somerset Bencoolen? We were on a budget for this trip, and we really fell on our feet. We shared with two other family members in a two-bedroom apartment. We requested a deluxe room on a high floor for the views. We received a free upgrade to a premier apartment on the 10th floor. The apartment had two bedrooms, one with en-suite the other with a bathroom next door, a lounge-dining room (TV with satellite, DVD player and a music system) , and a fully appointed kitchen. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service from the excellent team of staff was absolutely superb. Friendly, attentive and prompt to answer any request. The roof-top pool and spa are beautiful, and the continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. We used all the facilities, including the pool, laundry and gym. All were spotlessly clean and modern, and everything worked. There are foodhalls, pubs and a metro station in the immediate area, as well as a taxi rank at the front door. Somerset Bencoolen added to our Singapore experience when many hotels can detract from the experience. We heartily recommend serviced apartments and Somerset Bencoolen is right at the top of the list. Thank you!
