5-star price, 0-star room, 0-star breakfast!
This is the worst 3-star hotel I ever lived in. I lived for 3 nights with 2 persons in a standard two-bed room. Yet it is very expensive. SGD 200 per night is enough for a 5-star standard room in Singapore. A two-bed room of this hotel is given only ONE shower cap and no replacement after using it. Dirty and extremely small toilet with no toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and slippers.
What hotel is this? Better name it MOTEL.
The complimentary breakfast at its small cafe named "Lemon 3 Thai" worth only SGD 6.00 the most, as there are only 6 dishes to choose from and quite similar day to day. If you are staying up to 5 days, you will faint in its cafe. You will need to eat "fish food". The food is the same everyday , NO CHANGE.
If you are reading this review, you will definitely won't want to stay at this hotel, but unfortunately this cunning hotel management like to team up with travel agents to cheat worldwide travelers. I took a package from GoHoliday AirAsia (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and I am very disappointed with the performance of AirAsia (Malaysia) Bhd.
I hope no one will get cheated like me in future. I can guarantee your disappointment if you booked this hotel.

Stayed here for one night on my return trip to Singapore from Batam Island. Compared to the hotel I previously stayed in (Robertson Quay Hotel), Summer View felt much more spacious. The bathroom was larger as well.
There was a slight problem with the toilet as it kept running after flushing. A call to the reception about it resulted in a quick response from the housekeeping. They were up in my room in a few minutes. The problem wasn't serious though... just needed a little jiggle on the flusher.
The hotel is situated across a small open space, so I requested and got a room facing it. There are a number of hotels on this street (Bencoolen) and there's a food center nearby. Food is good and pretty cheap there.
Although I didn't take a bus this time, I saw there was a bus stop across the street.
I wished there was an in-room safe but since I was in SIngapore where the crime rate is very low, I wasn't too concerned about my valuables being stolen.
My verdict: I would stay here again. The bus stop right across rules out any disadvantage to not having the best location. Singapore has a very efficient transit system and is very affordable.

Around S$100 a night for a double room on bed and breakfast. Good value budget hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and nicely furnished and the staff were helpful. The hotel is in a good location close to the main sights and the shopping areas.
This quaint hotel is located right in the middle of the central district and close to Bugis MRT Station. However, the rooms are quite small; similar to Tokyo.
