Not really my favorite

Not my favorite place that i've stayed in Singapore but I'd say it has a really good location. Close to Orchard Central, Somerset, and pretty much very accessible. And i guess considering the expensive prices of hotels in the city, then i'd consider this as much cheaper than the usual.
Hotel room is a bit older, spacious but not modern looking. I think is good for families on a budget. Breakfast is just cup noodles, sliced bread and a few selection of jams/spreads in a small cramped up place.

Unique Quality: cheaper

Tucked away but so close to Orchard Road

Hotel Supreme is a little dated now but for value for money, it is a great place and in a good location. Handy to the infamous "Orchard Road", Hotel Supreme is within a short walking distance to all the shopping centres.

I first came to the Hotel via a taxi which took approximately 20 minutes from Changi Airport and had booked my accomodation online prior to arrival. This was then checked when I came to reception area. At first I thought I would have to carry my bags in by myself but someone then saw me as a guest and I was given help with my luggage. The receptionist on duty appeared to only speak Chinese and I was then given a key and shown to my room. A studio with a bathroom off to the lefthand side.

I only ate breakfast once while I was there and was a tad disapointed, the serving sizes were rather tiny and I had to go outside to find something more suitable to fill my tummy. Being so close to several food courts etc... I did not have to travel far. The Meredian Hotel was not too far either which has a terrific food court downstairs where you can really eat some truly yummy food.

Unique Quality: One thing I enjoyed about my stay at the Supreme was how clean the rooms were, they were also quiet and equipped with great storage space to hang your clothes. I also like the fact I could have a bath and I had a bar fridge which was great for stocking any water or juice that I had bought.

Budget hotel in downtown Singapore

For an overnight transit stay in Singapore, stayed at this budget accommodation in downtown Singapore.

Basic room. Location is close walking distance to Orchard Road.

So good for one night.
