Diaper Changing Stations / Public Restrooms

by Prettyfuljan

Hi! I will be traveling with my one year old and my concern is the availability of public restrooms around Singapore and if there are diaper changing stations... Hope someone can enlighten me here and tell me how I can go about the situation?

Hi, most shopping malls (except the older ones) have mothering rooms/facilities (access to fathers is another issue!). You should also be able to find them at attractions like sentosa and the zoo. Please see the link below for a list as well as rating of the facilities (although this list is a little old now, i would imagine that things have got better not worse)

Travel Tips for Singapore

Walking Singapore

by balhannah

Singapore is really an excellent place for walking. Yes, it does get hot, but be prepared, take your water, wear your sunhat & sunscreen, and have your sunnies on!
If you do get tired, there is buses & taxi's and the MRT. Get thirsty?,... plenty of places to buy a drink.......Hungry, ....plenty of food places also!

What I found of great help when planning what we were going to see and do, was the website that I have listed. I came across it by chance, and it was excellent in my eyes.
It lists many walking trails that you can do in Singapore, and gives information on each, so you can read beforehand and decide which you wish to do!

Check it out!............

Drinking

by Robmj

Alcohol is heavily taxed in Singapore, so either buy it from supermarkets and local shops where it is still relatively expensive or buy at happy hour which is quite a common theme.

In 2002, at happy hour I was paying $15 (Singapore) for a jug (1 litre) of tiger beer!

However, when in Rome...........................

safe sojourn

by vpas

The best thing about Singapore is that thanks to their stringent laws,it is a very safe country.Unlike in many other places that I have been to the cab drivers do not cheat or take longer routes to fleece more money!
By and large the people are helpful and ethical.

The different cuisine available, they're all delicious, especially if you know where to find them. Always miss the food in Singapore when I go on trips.
