Amara Hotel
The Amara Hotel is a nice hotel which is recently renovated, and conveniently located at the heart of the Tanjong Pagar area just next to the Tanjong Pagar MRT sub-way system. Across the road is the Tanjong Pagar Plaza (see my tip on Tanjong Pagar Plaza). If you stay on the higher floors, you will have good views of Tanjong Pagar area, Chintown and the tall skyscrapers of the Central Business District.
