Hotel NewVera: New Vera Hotel

My stay was Ok. Accomadations at New Vera tourist hotel are adequate but nothing remarkable. For around $80 a night you get a clean, not-so-comfortable bed and private bathroom. The first week that I stayed there my private bathroom had no bathtub just a stand-up shower stall. I later changed rooms to one with a SMALL bathtub. They wait staff is friendly and courteous.

Unique Quality: This hotel has no sauna whereas most of the others in the area do. It does feature a Cafe/Coffee shop and although it serves Western Style cuisine, its rather expensive in comparison to local area restuarants. The Lotte Mart is located across the street so buying groceries/snacks is easy and convenient. The hotel has no swimming pool or public internet access. However the staff is very friendly and they will let you use their business computer for a short period if you need to check email. Otherwise, bring your laptop. Every room is served with ISDN access.
