Hanwha Resort Jeju: Family Apartment Style Resort

We spent 2 nights at this resort. It is 2 bedroom apartment. One bedroom with queen size bed and the other bedroom empty. There are lots of mattresses so you can sleep on the floor. Don't worry, all Korean houses and hotels have heated floor, and it is quite refreshing to sleep on the floor.

Very pleasant stay at Hanwha.

Great view.

all budget hotels: Foreigner tax?!

I'm getting a tour to Jeju from a Japanese company (I'm living in Japan now). One week before departure they told us that Jeju hotels charge an extra fee (5000 yen, about $45) for non-Korean, non-Japanese guests. I never heard of this before, anywhere! Is this for real, or am I being ripped off? Anyone know?

Let's go Jeju Guesthouse: Guesthouse in Jeju Island

After arriving Jeju, I asked travel Info desk lodging in the airport and they recommended me one. The guesthouse called ‘Letsgojeju’ was beyond my expectations. They picked me up at once and the house was cheap, clean and cozy. Most of all, the host and hostess were very kind and they can speak English and Chinese.

It has a beautiful garden where there are lots of herb. Various kinds of korean tea are always prepared for guests, so you can taste them at any time.

If nesessary, you can rent a cell phone during your trip.

Free pick up service.

Motel Bobos: Great value and location

Motel Bobos is a mid-range motel right in the heart of Jeju City. It's 40,000 Won per night, which is roughly $47 US. Rooms include bathroom/shower, air-con, minifridge, and television with about 70 channels. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and you can check in just about anytime. There are also dozens of restaurants and bars within a couple blocks. Very convenient location. If this is within your budget, I would definitely recommend it.
