Kensington Stars Hotel: Old British Tradition !
Entering the hotels Lobby makes you feel to be in London, not at all in Asia, let alone in Korea !
The whole property tries to be as European as possible, from the reception-hall with a Mdm Tussaud-like appearance to the several floors, dedicated to European politicians or prominent personalities. The rooms try also to mirror european style. Even the red one-storied London Bus is parked right infront the entrance.
Unfortunately the european touch ends with the food, even to get a sandwich or snack in the late afternoon is rather complicated, on the other end the breakfast ample and well prepared, yet with complicated seating-rules for the guests, as seating was only allowed in a separated corner of the restaurant, for unknown reasons. Staff friendlyness could need some further training.
The european styled rooms were comfortable, with a complimentary fruit-basket, a nice view and the usual amenities of a 4-star property.
outstanding british style, especially suited for people, who have never been to GB before !
