Deamyung Sorak Resort 2: located near sorak in kosong dong

This is part two of my Stay at Daemyung Sorak Resort (with new pictures)

Korean Resorts are typically geared for domestic travel and are family oriented hence you can see in the pictures that the rooms are very large and every room has a kitchen! so that you can cook your food. at the cabinets, there are matresses and extra pillows hence for a price of $220 for a simple room, and $400 for a bigger room. this will be cheap since up to 8 people can sleep here. (hence 8 people can divide the price!) but unfortunately, just 2 of us divided the price hence it was expensive.

24 hour supermarket

huge rooms with kitchen and extra sleeping mats and pillow for free

1200 rooms

buffet breakfast

golf course

20 minutes drive to Mount Sorak national park

front view of Ulsan Bawi Rock

Food courts, restaurants and a mini mall

Mt Seorak Tourist Hotel: Mt Seorak Tourist Hotel

This is the only hotel inside the park. It's simple, but certainly good enough.

This is the ideal location.

Ilbo: The oldest Condo in Mt. Sorak

This Condominium is 11 stories high with a market on the ground level that provides most everything one would need to enjoy the kitchen and lounging areas in each room.

This condo is one of the first built so it shows a little wear and tear. Old school Korean bathrooms, and kitchen reflect a contrast to modern Seoul's amenities.

great location, convenient store on the ground level and very affordable.

Seorak Youth Hostel: Cheapest beds in Seorak National Park

The hostel is basic but provides a good base in which to trek in the National Park. It is walking distance to the park ticket office, and the walk can be quicker than the car over the 2km stretch when the queues are bad. The hostel is also only a 15min bus ride (700 Korean Won) from Sokcho city, with a bus leaving approx. every 10 to 15 mins between 05:30 to 21:30.
A single room for members cost 20,000 Won

Location is good.

Sorak Tourist Hotel: Hotel Closest to Sorak National Park

There's a hotel just next to Sorak National Park. Guess it's convenient to stay here if you plan to collapse in a heap after your hiking adventures...

This hotel is way cheaper compared to other two luxury hotels which are situated much further away! Oh yes, hotel staff will reply you in English if you email them..
