Basic accomodation by the Airport

It was a basic stay here. Rooms have different configurations so request for a room with a tub if you want one.. Breakfast is basic and the same every single day..

Unique Quality: One of the 2 airport hotels on Incheon island (away from the terminal buidings), where the Incheon Airport (South Korea's international airport) is located on. There are no tourist attractions around here on the island, but Seoul is just an hour by bus away. The hotel has a free ferry service from/to the airport. Take note though, it is not accessible on foot from the airport and cabs are very unwilling to drive to the hotel.

What to do?

by w3ndes

Pretty similar to the previous post except i'm arriving in incheon on saturday 4 evening and departing the monday 6 afternoon! so i'm there for the weekend!!!

at the moment i think we'll stay overnight in incheon on the saturday, travel into seoul for the sunday. should we and if so, where should we stay overnight in seoul?

clarkRB thank you recommended Best Western Incheon Airport for accomodation in incheon.

or just head back in incheon sunday night and stay till we depart? on way home from europe in march we'll have few more days in korea so will definately spend more time in seoul!

is it much hassle to travel into seoul? how long would it take by bus? we being 2 students are on the cheap too esp travelling through europe for 3 months!!

Anything else i need to consider? Any comments, advice much appreciated!!

cheers,

w3ndes

Hi!
I think if you arriving incheon airport, all overnight stay at seoul. because very easy of access to down town seoul ( www.airport.or.kr).
and please check about accommodation to (www.guesthouseinkorea.com )or everywhere find up
"motel".
My recommend about your seoul trip,it just try to city bus tour( www.visitseoul.net/english_new/index.htm) and have a shoping time. there are two big market in seoul( dongdae-mun market, namdae-mun market ),
that place are almost tourist shoping point in seoul.
If you want go to sea or seaside?
just go to incheon by subway, very easy go there.
If you want place about young and modern street? go to " Myung-dong ". Myung-dong is top centre of seoul.
many younglife style shops, restaurant, cafe, street vender and e.t.c....
well come in korea, and have a good time in korea.
cheers!!

I agree with JCKim, head straight into Seoul, subway is quickest and easiest. Bus will take you about 90mins and cost around 10USD - check the links JC gave you. Have a great time, Seoul is a wonderful city, I can't wait to go back there.
