Excellent business-oriented hotel
Our stay was way too short. Actually, it was only a long layover between flights from LAX and to Tashkent but we were there long enough to get a short, nevertheless very restful, sleep and eat a couple meals. The first meal was a quickly thrown together late night supper at the hotel and the other was an early lunch just before rushing back to the airport. The on-site meal was more than adequate, especially considering the circumstances, but the early lunch was outstanding. Even when I lived there, I never learned the Korean alphabet so I cannot tell you the name of the place where we ate but it was greattt! Ask the hotel staff if they can help you with a restaurant which is a cross between a Korean bulgogee place and a Japanese hibachi. It was about two blocks from the hotel and was on a corner. We ate outside, the weather was nice, and the spread was very impressive.
Unique Quality: I stayed in a very spacious twin and it was obvious from the moment of our arrival that the staff were highly concerned about our comfort and convenience. Room amenities included high-speed internet, humidifiers, air fresheners, refrigerators, water purifiers, UV sterilizers, Korean-style steam sauna, whirlpool baths, and bidets. English-language operating instructions were sparse and even when they were available they were hard to understand but the rooms, especially the beds were very comfortable. Double windows totally muffled the airport, and nearby construction, noise. The Korean under-floor heating system certainly brought back many warm (Excuse the pun, please.) memories.
The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport and they have a free pick-up and drop-off service.
This place would have probably received a five-star rating if we had only been there a little while longer.
