6 hour layover

by memphistraveler

I have a 6 hour layover in Incheon airport. Is that enough time to see something in Incheon City? If so, what is recommended? International flight...

Thanks so much.

Think you could be pushing it, at most you would have 2 hrs, probably less.
Its a big airport in your situation i would relax and just have a nice meal, a few cass beers and some Soju. The restaurant i tried in the airport had a good selection and was resonably priced. Korean food is great.

As the other poster said, you would really be pushing it to try and tour Incheon in that short amount of time. You MIGHT be able to take a taxi to Chinatown or to the Incheon Landing memorial and get back to the airport, but that is MIGHT. There are stop over tours from the airport that are about about 1 to 2 hours in duration, but the Incheon tour takes 4 hours...no way you could do it. Check this out just in case you want to do more than sit around and drink beer. I am partial to OB myself.

I agree. A glass of OB is the way to go.

I plan to taste them all during my 12 hour layover :)

Tim, depending on what your flight times are, you could always get some fresh air by doing a transit tour:

Travel Tips for Incheon

Incheon Port

by Ewingjr98

Behind only Busan, Incheon boasts Korea's second largest port. With the tide changes measuring up to 10 meters, the port has created innovative flood gates to allow cargo traffic to pass 24 hours a day. The international passenger terminal offers trips to various cities in China including Tianjin, Cheongdo, Daeryeon, Shanghai and Dandong. The passenger terminal also has ferries to Jeju Island.
