by happytrip
Seoul has many palaces everywhere, especiall in Kwang-Buk region, where remain old former houses and looking-disorder roads. The opposite region is Kwang-Nam where place souther part of Seoul ,young people have lived and modern styles exist for the younger. It will be great fun watch the different stlyes of them. I took off my school for temporally. And I'm staying here Pusan with my family now where southern part of South-Korea. I always miss the gorgeous palaces, my inspiring places.

Business: Whatever you do, do...
by carstenj
Business: Whatever you do, do not argue or be lecturing in the open with Koreans in a business environment. You do that in private, if necessary. They will not forgive you if you make them loose face and that is no way to build a professional relationship. They will respect you, if you respect them.
Join the masses and hike a mountain
by itsCharlie
Hiking is definetly a favorite Korean passtime, and it's something that everyone should endulge in at least once while in Korea. The East coast mountains are much larger and more beautiful, but you can easily hike one of the many mountains right in Seoul. It is a day long activity and you'll probably pass out early that night, but it's really not THAT hard if you're in reasonable shape. You'll have to pay a small fee when entereing the park and just follow the crowds from the subway. There are easier climbs for smaller mountains and hills all around seoul. Lights at night make for gorgeous city views. Just a good pair of shoes and dress for the weather of course- it will be colder than in Seoul.. which is nice in the summer.
