Kim's Guesthouse

First of all, I would like to say I have never stayed here, but I have met people who "lived" here and hung out with them and they say that for the money in this part of SEoul it can't be beat. The owners speak English and the accomodations are great. They will even store your luggage for you if you want to tour around the country a bit. Bonus is that they are located in one of the best nightlife parts of Seoul.

Unique Quality: Where else in Seoul can you get a room for less than $30, have free internet, breakfast, and even arranges tours for you? Bonus is English speaking staff (they also speak Japanese). You also get to make new friends and hang out with some pretty cool people.

Directions: The guesthous is located in the Shinchon area where many Korean language studies programs are located, so you will see lot's of foreigners.

I had a great time here. Sunny is super nice. She makes really good Kimchi. This is a excellent place to experience Korean home culture at if you can't swing a homestay.

Directions: From Incheon International Airport, take an From the airport take bus No.602 at gate No.5B (or 12A) bus stop and then get off at Hapjeong Station. (about 40 min.) Then follow the map.

One of the cheapest lodgings found in Seoul. Located just about 15 mins walk from Hapjeong subway, Kim's Guesthouse is tucked away within the residential area. The hosts are nice and always ready to give travelling tips whenever you need. Rooms are quite roomy and clean. With a living room that just feels like home, a well equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms & free internet usage. Near the vicinity are some grocery shops, eateries, and a small market. Highly recommended for budget travellers.

Kim's Guesthouse is ca. 10 minutes walk from Hapjeong station where subway lines 2 and 6 cross each other. This gives a good point to start your daily trip to the city.
The guesthouse is close to the 2002 World Cup stadium and the Han river as well.
I do not know the prices in Korea, but this accomodation is cheap (36USD for a double private room is very good). And what is also important: it's clean!

Directions: Close to Hapjeong station (subway). Hapjeong station is also the first stop where bus no. 602 from Incheon airport stops.
