Reasonably Priced Dowtown Accommadation
Friendly English speaking staff provide easy check in. Rooms are a little small but adequate. TV and LAN internet access. Quiet at night considering it's downtown location. Overall I was very pleased.

We stayed at the Metro for a night when we were on our way to London in late 2004. It's fine, but nothing special.

Second Class hotel: METRO HOTEL
Seoul is a city with full of reasonable and confortable hotels. METRO HOTEL is one of them.
The hotel is located in Myeong-dong area, the heart of downtown Seoul and only a minute away from subway station.

Metro Hotel
Stayed at the Metro Hotel from July 21-24th, right in the city center of Myeongdong.
A TGIFs is right next door and the Lotte department store and hotel complex is a block or so away.
Unique Quality: Decent facilities but great location, especially close to the shopping areas.

four star hotel near Hotel Lotte
HI,
I will be coming to Seoul next month, I would like to stay in a four star hotel in city center near Hotel Lotte which I will attend a conference there.

The only four star hotel in the viccinity is the President hotel, which sits almost right next to Lotte Hotel. If your budget is low you could also check out the 3-star IBIS Myeong-dong or the Metro Hotel, both are within 3 minutes walking distance from Lotte hotel.
