Seoul's Soul for hotels

This hotel had an absolutely fabulous location. We had a wonderful time in Seoul, especially at the hotel Savoy. Centrally located in Myeong-dong which was surrounded by markets, cafes, and incrediblly cheap restaurants. I would go back there in a heart beat. Wouldn't give it a 5 star rating, but it was pretty good. You stepped out of the hotel to street markets, yummy food, gorgeous and cheap jewellery, and shoes. I was so surprised by Seoul. The place was abuzz. We got the best deal from this website ... www.hotelwide.com
Book two months in advance don't leave it until the last minute. It cost us off season approx. $105 Australian.

Unique Quality: Excellent location. You can nip out and buy food, clothes, jewellery, gorgeous shoes. I LOVED Seoul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most wonderful accomodation for a mad shopper

hotel amenities/facilities::
Some renovation was done to the old building and it looked splendid. The whole place was practically new. Inside the hotel building, there's a fast-food chain and a western restaurant at the basement.
There are also two pay-to-use desktops available for use. (500won per 11~12mins usage.)

location::
5~10mins walk away from the entrance to Myeongdong subway station.
Located next to Skinfood Face and Skincare Products and lots of other shops so there is no reason to be bored or hungry throughout the stay.

service::
Generally good. The reception staffs understood and spoke great english. Other than the fact that the third occupant in the room gets to sleep on a foldable bed, the service was quite good.

Unique Quality: The best thing about Savoy was that a Buffet breakfast was included during the length of stay and the location of the place. It's practically located right in the heart of Myeongdong, young people's shopping haven.

15~20mins away and you are at Namdaemun Market.

NICE MID RANGE HOTEL

by xymmot about SAVOY HOTEL SEOUL

We made the reservation on line and did not know what to expect. As we got closer to the hotel, it seems like a mob of people outside and very festive. Little did we know, the hotel was in the middle of a shopping area where they had wide walkways for people. many students and young professionals around, Upon check in at the small counter, we were led up to a small but very comfortable room at under a hundred dollars. The restaurants and shops nearby all over, the hotel was great on the location, location, location. location, location, location....everything you would want is right outside your door,
