A Five star hotel
Seoul Plaza Hotel is located right in downtown Seoul, conveniently located close to embassies, banks, major shopping centres and popular tourist attractions. It is a 22 storey five star hotel with approximately 480 well-furnished rooms and modern facilities. The hotel was officially opened in 1976.
Among its well equipped facilities are high speed internet access, IDD telephone, fitness centres with spa, swimming pool, aerobics and yoga classes. golf driving range, wheelchair accessible, fully air-conditioned, currency exchange, conference facilities, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and international restaurants. Conveniently located close to City Hall, subway station, banks, offices, embassies, shopping centres and major tourist attractions.
Deoksugung Palace is across the street from City Hall and the Seoul Plaza Hotel. Admission is 1,000 Won and its a real peaceful place amidst the high rise buildings and busy Seoul atmosphere. It's quite a scene to look at such old structures with new high rise buildings in the background.
Sam Gae Tang restaurants...
Sam Gae Tang restaurants behind Seoul Plaza Hotel Koreans believe this soup is very good for health. It is made of whole chicken (a choice of white or black chiken) stuffed with glutinous rice and a whole big ginseng root, steamed together and served with a small glass of korean ginseng liquor. Roast chicken is also served in most Sam Gae Tang restaurants.
