Location between 2 train stations
The W Hotels are among the higher end hotels in any location. Walkerhill is no exception. The hotel's lobby is a fully furnished lounge bar, with a restaurant to the side.
The rooms are equipped with the most modern equipments, with music already playing. The beds, bathrooms and furniture are typically very modern, yet very comfortable. If you get a room with a city view, you will not be disappointed.
The service is very friendly and all around great stay.
Unique Quality: There's WiFi, spa, fitness rooms, restaurants, buses to the airport, etc.
Directions: East of central Seoul, about 15 minutes from Itaewon. Near Guri

Hong guesthouse is located in centre of Seoul.
I was able to get there with direct bus from Incheon airport.
And 5 min walk from the bus stop.
I stayed at twinroom w/ my friend.
The manager speaks English fluently so he was able to help us with directions and good place to eat and stuff.
The subway station was about 6~7 min walk, but everything i needed was all nearby. Location.
Many clubs, restaruants, cafes were nearby.
This place came recommended by the Lonely Planet, so I checked the webside and decided that this was just the place I wanted to stay at. It's a traditional hanok in a quiet alley and is built around a (normally) attractive courtyard.
Unfortuantely, the place was undergoing some sort of renovation, so the lovely courtyard was packed with buckets, laundry, building material but no flowers at all! :-(
I would still recommend it as I'm sure they will have finished with the renovation some day! ;-)
Reservation by e-mail is very simple, we always had the reply to our questions within 24 hours. I wanted to stay in a traditional house, so that's so special about it. The owner, Mrs. Lee, is very friendly and helpful, she speaks a little English. The only room with en suite facilities is the family room - which we chose as we wanted some comfort after the long flight. The room was not particularly pretty, but had a (very strong!) floor heating and even it's own computer with internet access! Though for the other rooms there is an internet access provided as well.
As we found that many hotels in Seoul were quite expensive, this place was okay and also in a good location, very near to some of the palaces.
Double room: W 40000
Family room: W 100000
This motel was what you would expect from any yeogwan. The room was clean and it included all the basic amenities: small fridge, air conditioning, TV. The motel was in a great location at the south end of Insa-dong gil, a great little artsy street in Central Seoul. Most of the major attractions were within walking distance.
If you're looking for cheap accomodations, this is fine. The bed was a little hard after 4 nights, but it was okay for the price we paid. Make sure you negotiate for it. We paid 30,000 W a night, but we probably could have negotiated it down to a little less.

Hello everybody,
next week I'll stay in Seoul. Are there open places to go online like coffee shops, bars?
Thx for it.
Try this link, insert 'Seoul' on the city line and 'South Korea' on the state line: you'll get a list of wifi locations and number of providers. Good luck!
