Staying the night
Like most people, I've never stayed the night here - instead coming for the day from Nuwara Eliya. At some point I intend to camp out on Horton Plains - I know that it's been possible in the past so I assume you still can. They charge you a couple of dollars for camping as well as 2 day's entry fee, so it's not a particularly cheap option and it can very cold at night. There's also Anderson Lodge, a few kilometres down the road, which is available to groups and sometimes has basic accomodation for individuals.
