There aren’t a lot of choices to stay here in Batti, but one of them is the Co-op Inn. Facilities are a bit rustic, ‘guesthouse’ was the term used by one Sri Lankan. Beds consist of a thin foam mattress lying atop a few boards. Mattress is probably the wrong word, as it was simply a foam pad. Water leaks in all of the bathrooms. Be careful taking a shower since you will get everything wet - think sailing boat. The area is very hot and humid - much more so for the incoming northern hemispherian. There are three rooms which have air conditioning, a nice thing to have since the rooms are in a raised concrete structure and hot air rises!
It is unique in you don't have a lot of choice in where you get to stay in this part of the World.
