Anyone has info about the above hotels? Which is closer to shops/restaurants?
Induruwa hotel is on the beach , but I am afraid not to be in a remote area!

The beach at Induruwa should be safe for swimming on most days, but beware of currents and undercurrents.
I have never been much bothered by mosquitoes at the beaches in Sri Lanka, but some people seem to attract the little beasts more and others. Long sleeves and long trousers are are always good precautions as well as a DEET based repellent.
