Cozy place to stay
We stayed for a night after the flight and left. Mark the owner is very accommodating. This place is nice to book on the first night since the hostel has its name and many people specially the taxi or tuktuk drivers know's the place. You will never have hard time finding it. If you are planning to stay more than a day then you can always go to the next neighboring accommodation which are less expensive if you are on a budget at the same time offers much more.
The room is equipped with fan, air-conditioner, bathroom, a small veranda facing the road and beach view.
Unique Quality: Well known hostel, only 50 meters away from the beach.

Renovated and Increased Rates
The Rates are Increased to 1500 to Economy Room (last year it was 800) and no more the cheapest accommodation around.****
Located on the Main Tourist Attraction of Negombo - The Lewis Place (A Very Long Street) with many hotels and guest houses along side.
The Building and the rooms are very old but the bed is comfortable and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
Its advised to have Mosquito repellent or coils, The Net can not stop the Invasion
There are some Air Conditioned Rooms and Rooms with private balcony on first floor at higher price (I have not seen the rooms)

The Beach is 1 minute walk.
There is a Store right in front and many Restaurants around
Revised Rates. 1500 SLR**** stayed one night Paid 1300 as my flight arrived so late and moved to Angel Inn next morning.
