Hi guys, my friend(M) and I(F) are currently planning for a 13-day(give or take a day or two) bike trip around Formosa, starting on 22nd June . And when it comes to cycling FOREVER in SUMMER, the more people the merrier.
We have already worked up a detailed itinerary, covering the most attractive spots that Taiwan the beautiful island provides, and a great portion of the trip will be along the amazin&breathtaking coastline of east Taiwan..

The droopy willows beside the lake and the flowering lotuses in the lake give it the name. On the lake there are many pagodas and pavilions such as Confucius Temple, Chiming Hall, Dragon Tiger Pagodas, Spring Autumn Pavillions and so on. These places are all linked with the Nine-Cornered Bridges, forming a quiet and peaceful landscape.
There are two large pavilions dedicated to Kuan Kung, the God of war. In front of the Pavilions is a statue of Kuanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. Legend has it, Kuanyin appeared above the clouds riding on a dragon, signifying that believers should build an image representing this event between the pavilions of summer and autumn. The pavilions were erected as a result of this.
