I will be bringing my family to Taipei in May and I would like to ask has anyone been to Jingguashi, yingyang hai, shifen, jiufen, yeliu ? Are they near to each other ? Can I visit all these places within 1 day ? I would like to ask does anyone of you happened to know of someone who provides service to all these places ? Can recommend thanks.

For airport transfer, it's now NT$800 one way, and NT$1500 2-way (He says this is a special price for Singaporeans. haha).
As for the day-trip, he charged NT$3500.(10hrs about )

Travel Tips for Taipei

The northern city-Taipei-Tamsui River

There are various Taiwan's traditional snacks along the Tamsui River. You can eat with satisaction from day to night. After eating,don't forget to take a walk there.
The night view is great. Starbuck was located near the river;therefor, you can sit there and order a cup of coffee...

Jiufen - a mountainous village

Jiufen used to be gold mining town in early 20th century. Things have changed and it's a nice get-away for city dwellers over the weekend.

The village is built on the side of the mountain. The main street is made of stone steps going all the way up from the bottom of the village.

There are quite a few tea houses, with a nice view of the ocean. Specialty food is the hand-made tapioca dessert, served hot or cold.

Bus 277

The bus route 277 is now available for disabled travellers.

The Metro Bus company has provided 2 disabled friendly bus in route 277, which is going through most of the major street in Taipei.

For those area which is not go through, disabled passengers can also use the connection of MRT too. (Check up the route at the given website)

Noodle is very popular food in Taiwan, you can actually see a lot of noodle house in Taipei, even the small alley.

As you walk in to the shop, the menu is hanging high on the wall, customers are always order the noodle direct to the shopkeeper. Most of the time, they will serve the noodle to your table and no service change on it.

It is also one of the cheapest meal you can get in Taiwan
