This outlet locates in Tian-Mu, where there are most foreigners in Taipei. You will be surrounded by the exotic feeling. If you are lucky enough, you can see some singers sitting next to you, and we are one of them.
This outlet sells nothing different from other ones; but its atmosphere is very friendly andcomfortable. Lovers keep on loving; friends keep on chatting; families keep on enjoying. You can choose where to sit, in-doors or outside. No...But dun be a sloppy person!! That kind of people are always not welcome enveywhere.
Romantic Cafe
There are actually quite a lot of nice cafes in JinShan Road of Yang Ming Shan but Montmartre gotta be the best one!
The owner of the restaurant, Lai Yue Zhong, is a famous photographer and Montmartre was actually his own studio for photo taking before turning into a restaurant. That's why Montmartre looks more than a cafe, its like a romantic studio, with lots of wooden, rusty furnishing, pastel coloring, european style decorations, soft lighting.. all just made me couldn't get my camera off my hands! shame that its a rainy day.. >"<
went on a thursday afternoon at around 4 and its almost full! the bed seats are the most attractive ones! ordered a tea set with mocha.. served on a high-tea rack, with cookies, cakes and sandwiches.. taste is okay la~~ but i guess in such an environment everything u eat becomes delicious~ ^^ espcially when u are with "the one"
Hotplate on a cold cooold day..
The environment isnt naturally 5* as it IS a night market after all.. but the wonderful aroma's wafting out from the restaurant was enough to make us stop and give it a go. Despite the fact that my travel mates and I were all non-Mandarin speakers, the aid of sign language got us enough to order the seafood steamboat and with plenty of condiments, a cold COLD rainy winter night - a full tummy it was for all of us. Seafood steamboat - !
