when i used to be a soldier in Taiwan (that's all men's destiny in Taiwan :( haha, i must lived in an island within taiwan strait nearby china for almost 2 years ,the picture were taken there ,boats were our important transportation tool if anyone wanted to quit,can u imagine just only a 100 meters street on the small island?! although the past time seemed too long for me,but it was still worthy to remember, now,i live and work in taipei ,and i wish to trip around north europe , especially Iceland , COOL !!

Sulphur Valley

The Yangmingshan area is abundant of geothermal activities. Besides the more famous XiaoYouKeng, you can also visit the Surphur Valley/Longfeng Valley area. The Surphur Valley is the second source for the Peitou hot springs (the first source is Hell Valley). Unlike the Hell Valley, where hot spring water can be retrieved directly, it only emits hot gas here. However the local people builded the water pumps around the gas holes, which turns water into hot spring waters. Then this artificial hot spring water is carried down the mountain by water pipes.

Girls' Pink Dream

Pink, pink, pink... all is pink. The room of the restaurant is sweet, warm and creative, pink and cherry are well used.
There one can order dishes, but the most popular one on the menu is the buffet it offers. Many people especially girls come to enjoy the "pink" food. It's full of people on weekend and one is allowed for 2 hours dining. What makes it charming? Cakes.
It offers around 20 kinds of cakes. One can eat as many pieces as she likes. Besides cakes, there serves also fried rice, fried noodles, pizza, french fried, fried onlion, To-Gan, Pig-Blood-Cake, cheese baked vegetable, soda water, fruit tea, coffee etc.
The price is 199NTD (+10% service charge). It's supposed, the second important reason for being popular among students. Do you have pink dream? Fried noodles is well cooked, not normal at all.
New York Cheese cake is the finest.
Pizza are maybe not the best, but not bad.
Fruit tea is tasty.
