You can also try durian in the summer although this is imported from Thailand (not for the faint hearted) Starfruit juice/plums/guavas
Cheifun Mountain Village
by rhondav_2004
I signed up for this tour at the hotel, and it was a wonderful drive up the mountainside to a quaint little village. I also found the shopping here to be much more enjoyable. Great deals and very nice locals.

MRT in Taipei
by ngcsc
The MRT in Taipei is very convenience for the travellers as they reach a lot of tourist spots within Taipei City.
It is a little bit more expensive than the buses but if you can't read Chinese, MRT is the best way to travel around.
Another good reason to take MRT is simply because they are disabled friendly. It is a good news for those who are really love to travel around.
Winter New!!!

Winter New!!!
Usually, you just need cost around NT$300(US$80) for a meal of 'Hot Pot'. Besides that, it's just like the buffet, so you can help yourself!!!
Spicy 'Hot Pot'
'Hot Pot' is kind of soup, but you can put meat, vegetables, sea foods or special meat ball in it. It has three different soup, which are no spicy, half spicy and half not, or the most popular soup, full of spicy soup.
In fact, you can find a good 'Hot Pot' restauent in each area. but still my favorate is 'BUMA BULA'
