The best hotel in Taipei

We lived on the 33rd floor where has good view over busy streets in Taipei city.
The room has the most modern and decent equipments, such as big screen LCD in main room, small screen LCD in bathroom, marble bathroom, bath salt, Aigner bath set, baggage room etc. The bed is big & comfortable and has many pillows.

We enjoyed the night a lot.

An OK hotel

Try to get a room with a view of the impressive Taipei 101. Good room service. Try the hot and sour seafood soup!! :)

"we moved to One Star Hotel. It's a new hotel. There's a special rate at NT1500. The normal rate is NT1680. The staff are friendly. In Ximenting. Just beside Far Eastern Hotel. There is ADSL internet also. We borrow a network cable (had to put a refundable deposit of NT200). Rainbow staff ain't exactly friendly. Don't really like Rainbow. One Star is brand new and the room has a 20inch flat screen TV. Room is much better than Rainbow. "
Hopefully, I can get a phone number next week,That was posted by a Singaporean in another forum.

Re Breakfast

They keep on giving you the "Chinese" Breakfast since you are Chinese.

You can ask them for Western Breakfast on alternate days so that it is not boring.Their coffee is not bad at all.
