The "Healthy" Sidewalk
by kenmerk
When in Taipei, do try to find yourself a "heathly" side walk... Usually a long walking path over a number of rounded river rocks...
While walking on this without shoes can be somewhat painful at first, it will feel like the best foot massage you ever had if you can complete the track... (also a great cure for hangovers....)
Watch Baseball Match
by Hui-Hui
Baseball was introduced from Japan to Taiwan when the island was Japan's colony. It is one of the most popular sports in Taiwan. We have Chinese Professional Basebal League (CPBL) of 10 teams. Many fans go to watch matches regularly. It's fun to do it with a lot of people surrouding. We cheer and shout together. Especially it's a good place to relax ourselves by screaming loud and noone would stare at you in weird way. There is a baseball stadium in TienMu disctrict in Taipei city. We could take free shuttle bus between ZhiShan metro station and the stadium. In addition there is a department store next to the stadium, so after watching a match it's convenient for girls to do shopping.;) Bring cheer bars for making sounds!! (except you are good at screaming)

Night market adventure
by hatter10_6 about Shi lin Night Market
Although the food booths and stands in the night markets look pretty dirty, they are quite edible. If a place is busy, it usually indicates that the place is good and has fresh food. It's okay, humans are more hardy than they look. They don't die easily. rou-geng, which translates to meat stick-soup. Very tasty. Also try ai-yu with lemon juice, it's a special form of plant jelly. Cool food.
