I'm travelling to TaiPei in two weeks with 4adults and 1 child. Cna I check how much would it cost for a taxi ride to the city?

Sorry my first post is the cost of going to airport from the city centre.
Here is the correct answer
TWD 1200-1400/40-50 mins to the city centre. They are available from outside the arrivals hall 24 hrs to Taipei, Taichung and beyond. Call (0)3 398 2832 or (02) 2766 2222.

Yeliu Archaelogical Park
About 2hours ride north of Taipei city and right by the sea is Yeliu archaelogical park with its weird "alien soil". Eroded stacks, strange rock formations and the beautiful sea makes the trip worthwhile.
Look out for fossilised remains of leaves and sea creatures (forgot the scientific term)imprinted on the ground near the patch of "ginger like" rock formations on your way out.
Good buys from the locals pitching their movable stores outside the park are dried sea produce such as cuttlefish, dried scallops and shrimps.
24hours Book Store
Most of the book lovers, especially Chinese readers, visit to Eslite Bookstore at DunHua South Road is a must-do in Taipei.
Being the first 24hours Chinese bookstore in the world, or may be the first bookstore overall.... how can you miss it.... if got nothing better to do... no clubbing, no night life, just wanna sit down somewhere to get a moment of freedom... this should be the place.
Clean and bright atmosphere, smell good coffee, you'll find there are still a lot of people even during 2am.... Books, Chinese and some English books too. Some says don't have to buy, you can actually finish the whole book there and no one will question. Discount price if you are member, but not worth it if you are not stay in Taiwan
Beware a rush hour
Beware a rush hours! It was easy and trains were not crowded during a day. I did not remember that rush hour starts a little bit later in Asia than in Europe. I have never been so full trains than I was just after 8:30PM.
