Shihzuwan Hotel Kaohsiung: An amazing budget hotel

This hotel had the largest room I have ever stayed in.It had a jacuzzi in the bathroom, the room was massive and the bed really comfortable. There was a great buffet breakfast with a huge choice of foods and all this for a really budget price.Plus it is right by the main railway station of the city. All in all a great experience. There is fast wifi and the staff were very helpful and gave us free maps.

Huge room, fast wifi.we came back after our tour down south.

Silken Hotel Taipei: Good location good price

This is a budget hotel in the Zhongshan district of Taipei close to the major sites, which provides cheap comfortable rooms and a good free buffet breakfast. The staff don't speak English really but you have everything you need nearby, only about 7 minutes walk to the subway and the room is spacious and clean.

Ulysses Hotel: The BEST Hotel in Taipei

Location! It's right next to the Main Bus station which is very convenient if you plan doing day trips outside of Taipei. It's also just a 1 min walk to the metro, has many restaurants and ameneties around... About 10-15min walk to some parks a few tourist attractions. The high point of this hotel is the location mostly location. See what's most convenient for you.

clean, modern and comfy rooms. Location is great too. Staff were attentive and service was excellent. To cite an example: Just before heading out, i noticed a tear in my skirt. So i went down to the reception to borrow a safety pin or sewing kit. Advising me against the use of a pin, the ladies at the recep offered to sew it up for me. I thought that was a very kind gesture and was really thankful. Upon collecting my skirt, one lady even apologized for the use of a different colour thread and said that she hoped i didnt mind that the thread colour was different from my skirt. Of course i didnt mind - it was extremely sweet of them to help me with the sewing! What more could i ask for :) Thank you Ulysses! I enjoyed every bit of my stay with you and will definitely be back

Taoyuan Hotel: Taoyuan Hotel at night

23 NOV 2012
The hotel offered a free aiport pickup.
At the arrival hall, a shuttle bus driver was already waiting for me. He did have a peace of paper with my name on it. So pickup was fine an quick.

I would classify the hotel as a 3 star tourist hotel.
Wireless internet worked fine.
I could borough a power adapter for free
The furniture in the room was clean, but not new.
I would schedule some floors for a redecoration.
Airconditioning works also fine.
Level of english at receptionist: Better than in China, but still space for improvement

I liked parts of the interieur of the reception area.
The hotel is sourrounded by a number of small shops and restaurants.
Some convenience stores are open 24/7.

From airport to the hotel, take the free pick-up service.
Train: Baoshan station and Taoyuan station are not too far away from the hotel.
The High Speed Taoyuan Station is further away from the hotel

Chyuan Du Hot Spring Hotel: Xin Beitou

Is a 3 star hotel but the lounge of this hotel is very small, just sufficient for a person to walk through, which pass the receptionist/check in counter toward the lift. There is only 1 small lift.
We stayed in a quarted room which consists of 2 queen sizes bed. We stayed at 3rd floor. The room space is sufficient for 4 person, not too small but not too big.
The bathroom has hot spring.

One Star Hotel: Perfect location!

We stayed at the hotel for a week and thought it was awesome! We would definitely stay there again! My initial impression was that it was a very, very small hotel but all that was overshadowed by the oh so friendly, helpful staff and the super clean room. There was no dust to be found even in the corners!. We opt for the suite and thought it was quite cozy. The fridge was stocked with a bottle of water and a can of soda which got restocked daily. There were teas and coffee as well. The top floor has a small washer and dryer you can use. Warning...if you're staying with children you might want to guard the TV. The porn channels are not blocked. The hotel has a small breakfast buffet which I enjoyed. They serve more of a traditional Taiwanese breakfast...plain congee with fried eggs with soy sauce, pickled veggies, stir fried bean curds... There's also toast and jelly...there might be cereal also...don't remember. What we loved most about the hotel was that it's conveniently located in the middle of Ximending and the MRT is only a couple of minutes away by foot! You have instant shopping, entertainment, food, transportation!

Ta Shee Resort: The nearest resort from International Airport

In order to return to my country I had to take the flight at 12:00 at noon from Taoyuan International Airport checking in before 10:00 a.m. Then I have selected this hotel. Checking out from this hotel at 9:00 a.m. I can arrive at the airport before 10:00 a.m. The taxi costs NT$1,200 (fixed rate).
Taking the public bus from Taipei and arriving at the bus stop Yuon Fu Kuo Shiao(‰i•Ÿ?‘?¬Šw?Z?j,
the hotel sends me the complimentary car for pick-up.

Checkin date: January 23, 2007. Twin room. Room No. 621. I enjoyed swimming in the heated swimming pool. The room is spacious. The bath tub and shower is separated.
The illumination at night is beautiful.

Grand Hotel Taipei: Most popular and gorgeous

I stayed in the Grand Hotel on Jan. 20, 2007. Room NO. 948, prestage floor, prestage room, city view. I hear recently the room is renovated. Shower toilet, Television of Liquid Crystal Display, etc. Good city view. Spacious room.

There is Yuan Shan Club outside of the hotel. There you can find the 50m swimming pool open. Then the water temperature was 19 degree c. Even though a little cold, I enjoyed swimming there. The swimming pool is genuine for competition of Olympics.

Chuto Plaza Hotel: clean

I stayed on 01/19/2007. Standard twin. Non-smoking. Breakfast included.
The room is of good size and the bath room is of enough size and confort. Breakfast is rich and enjoyable. The heated swimming pool is nice and good to swim. The wedding was celebrated there.

I have arrived at 7:10 p.m. at the Taoyuan International Airport. Taking the local bus to Taoyuan station operated by Taoyuan Bus Corporation departing from the airport at 8:00p.m.,
it took about 1 hour because of traffic jam sometimes. At the said train station through the tunnel underway walking direct to the bus depot crossing the road, I took the bus to Ying ko,
getting off at Tachin lukou. The bus depo is located at the contrary side of station entrance. It takes about 10 minutes although crowded and with traffic jam. Immediately taking off at the bus stop, you can find the hotel of short walk. Please take care of the bikes entering into the narrow space when you take off from the bus. The local bus does not have change.

The hotel is quite confortable. Thank you very much.

By the cavesbook store across from the Train Sta.: A lovely hotel to stay

Sorry I forgot the name of the hotel.. but it's very easy to find. It's clean and neat. The price is very reasonable. If you need a place to stay in Tainan, try it. You won't regret. They offer English service for sure.

Nice cashier, free breakfast. The room is clean and quiet even it faces a busy street. Very close to the train station. Two of us just spent US$30 for a night.

Grand Hyatt Taipei: Wonderful hotel, terrific service

I visited Taipei on business -- arriving at the hotel at 5 am on a Sunday morning. The service was outstanding from the moment I stepped into the Lobby. The words 'friendly' and 'courteous' don't begin to describe the Hyatt staff.

The room was wonderful, bath and amenities -- perfect. Room service was terrific and lightning fast!

I would highly recommend this hotel!

The staff ... they know how to treat people. All were multi-lingual and super accommodating.
