It was the cheapest room we got throughout our Summer Trip to Taiwan. It was recommended by our friend who had stayed here before. We contacted the owner thru email and he replied us with room availability and the rate. He will reply you in English. We paid NT$800 (US$27) per night, for two nights.
It is neither a guesthouse nor a hotel, but an apartment block with rooms. There is no customer service, but you can call the owner if you need anything. Basically, when you arrive you need to call the owner, he will send someone to pass you the key, and you pay him or her the total cost. It is like staying in a local apartment with access card and keys. You need to bring your own tower, shower creams, shampoo and etc. It is a good experience too!
The room is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The Wi-Fi is workable with moderate speed. The bed is not so comfortable but I had a good night's sleep. Great location in the Fengjia Night Market.
If you are travelling on a budget, this must be a good choice of accomodation.
I believe they have many rooms with different themes.
Needing a hotel within walking distance of my son's flat I chose this hotel. The hotel is situated on a busy road within a 10 minute walk of night markets and only a 5 minute walk of restaurants and local shops. A Seven Eleven is opposite the hotel so a handy place to buy essentials like water, juices, snacks and ready meals should you wish to buy anything like that.
Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice of Eastern food and also food for Western tastes too such as cereals, toast and lovely fresh fruit especially mango, passion fruit and bananas.
Staff were really friendly although their English was very limited.
The rooms were clean and sufficient for my needs with tea and coffee making facilities. Free mini bar of water, juice and snacks refilled daily. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and a good shower. Plenty of towels which although rather thin you could keep if you wanted for free! That was a bonus as I travelled to the north of the island to stay with friends.
All in all a good hotel that I would possibly use again if the price was right.
Clean, comfortable and central.
A Hotel(Honey Dew) that suit people who like the convenience. Rooms are not big, just an average hotel but it is enought for two and for those who depend on public transport, this hotel will suit them. Breakfast is great, they provide full Chinese porridge and Bread with butter and jam, coffee and tea. The hotel is just opp.the Railway Station.
I like the Cook who serve the breakfast, He can provide info of the dish and explain the difference from one city to another. And the dish he prepared is healthy, clean, and delicious.

Walking distance to many important places, like train station, fine art museum, department store, theater, famous restaurant, night market, internet spot...
Located near the Tai-Chung Railway Station (15 – 20 minutes walk) and just next to the Tai-Chung Park
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Complimentary individual breakfasts are served with choices from western to Taiwanese cuisines. Taxi’s are easily available, all you need to do is get the front desk to get you one, within few minutes there will be one waiting for you in front of the hotel.
During night time, not much local nightlife available the nearest western fast food outlets is like 20 – 25 minutes walk from the hotel. The local night market Yi Zhong Night Market is also 15 to 20 minutes walk from the hotel.
Just beside the hotel if I’m not mistaken there is a so call duty free shop that sells designer labels products from handbag to garment.
A good place to stay if you want peace n quite.
We had searched for this guesthouse from the internet while we were in hualian. It was a last minute decision that we wanted to go to Cingjing Farm in Taichung. Later then we found out that this guesthouse is one of the top 10 guesthouse from Yahoo Taiwan. We were very satisfied with the environment of the guesthouse and the hospitality of the owner. A little pity that because of the rain and heavy smog, we were not able to see the mountain view from the guethouse.
Outstanding view of the mountain and fresh air! We had a double room with heater. The price is NT1,999 and inclusive of the entrance ticket for the choice of cingcing grassland or small swiss garden. Both breakfast & diner are included. The steamboat diner is yummy.
