Dear all,
as I am still planing trip to Thailand in Sept./ I am considering to visit Ayutthaya. Can anybody give any comments on the " Moradok Thai Guesthouse" + would anybody know by any chance if one can get direct in touch with them like by mail?

It would be in Wat Chaiwatthanaram, as its said as the most imposing and most popular destination in around the Ayuthaya City. A climb in the main Khmer type phrang would be good! Don't ask me why I did not climb then..;-) I would rather rocommend you to really take the steep steps?hehe..Well, most of the tourist there climb even kids tried it!
This isn't so much my fave thing about Auytthaya, but a good place to get information about the city and local attractions. Various maps and brochures are available from guest houses and hotels, but if you want more comprehensive information you can check out the the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) office. This is located near the City Pilar Shrine.

Lythonglian Meepan and his wife established the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace and Royal Kraal in 1996. Since then it has launched progressive programs to rehabilitate sick elephants, retrain killer bulls and increase the elephant population with more breeding. There are different kinds of things that you will see along the River in or around Thailand. Like this one here, you can see temples in different style. And of course they are precious to their religion. You can witness..anything if you will have the time to cruise!
Bang Pa-in Palace was used as a country residence by the royalties. It now appears with various distinctive buildings, such as the Chinese-style pavilion and the famous Thai pavilion in the middle of the pond.

Q: What motivate you to visit Ayutthaya? "right again, what motivate you to visit Ayutthaya? Push factors from inside you or pull factors from the destination?"
A: "Can't think of any push factors. I suppose if you've been to Angkor prior to Ayuthaya, you might be slightly underwhelmed."
