Hotel / Resort: Accommodation Outside The National Park

In Front of The National Park, along Thanarat Road, the road to the entrance gate of Khao Yai National Park, both sides are lined with a number of beautiful resorts, restaurants, and golf courses.

Houses / Tents: Accommodation In The National Park

There are 3 types of accommodation for tourists who want to stay overnight at Khao Yai; Lodging house, Tourist house (Youth Camp) and the popular for all visitors, in tent. Visitors can bring own tent or rent them there. There are 2 main campsites at Pha Kluai Mai and Lam Ta Kong, plenty of public toilets and bathrooms. The campsites can be quite crowded on weekend and in winter (Nov-Jan).

Orchid Camping area: Camping

I didn't stay here but saw lot's of people that did. Looked to be students from Bangkok. Could be a fun place to stay and meet the locals in the evenings.
The Park has tents for rent and other equipment which you might need. I'm not sure if they have ground cloths. I would assume that they do.
Tent for 2 people . . . . . . 80 Baht/night
Tent for 4 people . . . . . 150 Baht/night
Tent for 8 people . . . . . 300 Baht/night
Sleeping bag . . . . . . . . . . 50 Baht/night
Blanket . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .15 Baht/night
If you bring your own tent,
The fee is 5 Baht/person/night I'm not sure if this applies to everyone or just Thai's as it's 40 baht for a Thai and 200 for a foreigner to get into the park.

LOL I can't remember!! But it's near the HQ: Khao Yai Lodge

Near the park Headquarters there are several small houses that are available to rent. But you will have to book in advance!! Just ask for the small houses that are for rent. They are perfect if you have small group or a family as they come with 2 bedrooms and 4 beds 2 bathrooms and a small living room with a large wooden table. There is a porch along the front that is nice to sit and relax on too. The cost is 1200 baht per night. There are blankets and pillows and sheets that are provided. It is clean too. During the night we could hear the monkeys thrashing through the trees and there may have been an elephant that passed by too because the monkeys were going extra crazy one time. Of course all of that is included in the price!!
