Old and pricey but nice pool

Located on soi 2 on sukhumvit it's in a good location but it's a very old hotel and very basic ageing rooms

It was 1150baht for a double with aircon which was pricey

No breakfast included

But the swimming pool which is a decent size partly makes up for it, a great escape from the heat

It has a restaurant but we didn't try

Wifi doesn't work in the room but the lobby only

We checked out after one night and found a cheaper place at Suk11guesthouse

A lot of hype...

I was so excited to check this place out b/c apparently it is the oldest hotel in BKK. The pool area is pretty funky, there are a bunch of cats running around (which i enjoyed, but my friend is allergic), the food was ok, the service was terrible. If you do end up here, here's some advice - don't ask for towels because apparently that is a sore spot for them. The room was really dirty and cost 650 BHT. I suggest you skip this place and head over to the Worraburi on Sukhumvit.

Unique Quality: The pool area was cool and i loved the cats that were running around.

Directions: I think it was off Sukhumvit... might have been soi 20? You should check out the other tips about it, there is a link somewhere.
