Avana Hotel

This was my first time staying at the Avana Hotel and it turned out to be a good choice. The rooms were quite big and clean, with double bed, air con, TV, phone, mini bar, and had an attached balcony (800bht). The staff were very friendly, helpful and provided great service.
I stayed here a few different times during my month, due to my contant travel away and back to Bangkok. But on every return visit the results were always good, and this made it an easier choice to come back.
I would recommend this place mainly based on the price, and the fact that you can find most everything you need right at the hotel.

****UPDATE****On my latest visit to Bangkok, I once again returned to stay at this hotel a couple of times in the month. Not too much had changed since my last trip, but this was OK due to the fact that it was good the first time. The price, service and rooms were the same, however they were working on the restaurant downstairs just before I left, so the next time I will see what changes were made to it.
The staff are starting to know me a little know so it makes it good for me and my late checkouts.

Unique Quality: There is a mini-mart on the first floor near the lobby as well as a coffee shop. There is also laundry service and internet on this floor if needed. On the second floor they have a swimming pool, restaurant, fitness room, and hot tub.

Avana Hotel is a budget priced three star hotel located about a 20 minute drive from the new airport.
Its great for an overnighter and a double room will only cost $40 Australian per night which includes a buffet breakfast.
The Avana Hotel has all the facilities you would need for your stay including a swimming pool. The rooms have tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer, safe, TV etc.

There is also a pool side restaurant, a sauna, fitness room and they can arrange airport transfers for you as well.
Plus there are some shopping malls close by.
Another good thing about this hotel is you do not have to pay online or leave a deposit.
Payment is due upon arrival.

Avana Hotel is on Bangna - Trad Rd - After passing Central Bang-na (on the left), stay in the left lane for about 3 Km.
Do a U-turn at "U - turn bridge" (Nation Tower).
Go back for 3 Km., Dairy Queen Restaurant is on the left hand side.
After traveling about 100 metres, you will see the Avana Hotel sign on the left hand side, turn left and follow the signs.

Inexpensive hotel near Bangkok Airport. The Avana has a swimming pool, fitness and sauna. Comfortable rooms. Fair value for the price of the rooms in the area of budget.
