Large Rooms
Tucked in a corner and away from the busy streets of Bangkok, the apartment provides a quiet and serene retreat after a long and tiring day of shopping. As my mum and I first arrived at the apartment, we were simply amazed by the tastefully decorated lobby front. Decked in whitewashed walls, several gorgeous waterfountains and furnished in resort-styled, it was definitely a great place for guests to chill out and relax.
Both of us sat there for hours after our shopping spree like royal Egyptian queens lazing on plushed decked sofas.
Unique Quality: The rooms that we stayed in were the Studio apartment without the kitchen which were enough for family of six. The room had two large queen beds, small kitchen area and a balcony. The room space was more than enough for families with children to run around.
Breakfast at the restaurant is just next to the hotel pool.

Centre Point or no point?
Comfortable to say the least. Food at the restaurant not as good, in my opinion, as the food in the local area. Studio type apartments are spacious. Daily maid service and laundry (except on Sundays) DVD and television in room. Would stay again as it's close to everywhere, about 50 TBH will get you to the local night spots.

I stayed there for four nights in March. The most important thing I liked about it is its being safe. One needs to use the room key to use the elevator. There are cameras all over the place and so uninvited guests will be caught. The room gets tidied up every day. Room is spacious shops are nearby. The cash machine is just a stone away as well as the pharmacy, computer shops, malls and ---- hold your breath -- spa and massage parlour. Even it's too hot outside, you need not walk more than 10 meters to these shops. Breakfast is alright. You can have a fine dinner too - by the swimming pool at night which is quite nice. The taxi fare from there to the night market (recommended by the receptionist) costs only US$ 1.50. It has a travel inside the building too (booked the Floating Market trip with them). I'd go back there....Enjoy!

Currently, Centre Point Petchburi has a renovation in some room category and also at lobby and corridor. It will be finished until end of June, 2007. If you would like to stay here, try away it before 30 June since some noise may in disturbance. It would be greater if you stay after 30 June because of new furbish room with same rate and in wonderful location.
Grand Diamond Suite is also good for stay. Every room has one seperate living room and bedrooms, room is clean, good service as well as the location is right at Pratunam area. Moreover, this season Grand Diamond Suite has the promotion rate for every room type. I think there are many websites can offer you very good rate for staying at this hotel.
