Hotel Century Park (centre Bangkok)
We had a pleasant stay, close to the centre, nice clean rooms and a view on a chapel and a highway with big publicity panels.
Good breakfast (too much chinese stuff like dim sum in the morningn - as usual in every hotel). Swimming pool with jacuzzi on the roof where you can see all the skyscrapers. Also a fitness centra.
Nice entrance & hall with nice paintings & statues. Helpfull personnel & friendly. If you pay a drink in the lobby, the waitress sits on her knees to give your change back!
Unique Quality: Central, with a taxi or TukTuk normally 15minutes to city centre, but with daily traffic jams about 30minutes.
In the neighbourhood there is sometimes a market, you can go on foot (about 30 minutes) to the Bayoke tower.
Close to Victory Monument (about 20minutes by foot). From Victory Moment you can take the skytrain and have access to the whole city without traffic jams! Great invention!
At Victory Monument you can visit the biggest shoppingcentra like M.B.K. (a must see!).

Century Park Hotel
Right after i stepped out of the taxi, a warm smile greeted me in Thai and immediately, i was absorbed into Thailand's famed hospitality. The lobby is spacious and bright, my check-in was fuss-free and was ushered to my 11th floor room within 10mins. My non-smoking Superior SGD$84/nite room was very clean, everything intact and working. There's a huge double-bed complete with clean white linen. An in-room safe was found working. There were both bathtub and shower area in the toilet, and the usual toiletries u'll find in hotel rooms. Oh...a hairdryer too. On TV, u get all the Thai channels and a few English channels. I was happy to find no foul smell in that room. Breakfast was at Cafe at the Park on ground floor, with the usual fare of bacon, eggs, noodles, rice, cereal and some dim sum. Not alot of variety but good enough to kick-start the day. Menu doesn't change much. I had pretty much the same stuff throughout my 4 days. You can also find Roberto, a restaurant boasts the best italian food in town, if u're too tired to dine out. I didn't manage to try them though. In my opinion, i felt that the location of this hotel was not too bad even though the hotel wasn't in the heart of the city, but it was close enough. BTS is really about 10mins walk away, according to what others have written here. You wouldn't feel the distance with all the street vendors and shops that lined the road towards the Victory Monument BTS Station. It's also easy to catch a taxi at the lobby. Just let the doorman know where you're heading, and he'll convey it to the driver and ask him to use the meter. I've never encountered a problem with overcharging taxi drivers whenever i took them from the lobby. The staff were all smiles and were all helpful whenever you need them. Return to a kept room everyday. I would say this hotel suits every traveller, be it singles, couples or families. In a nutshell, i had a great experience with Century Park and i will definitely stay there again when i go back to Bangkok.
Unique Quality: I was amazed to find the landscaped outdoor swimming pool on the 5th floor packed everyday i was there. Great for soaking in the clean clear blue water, sunbathing on the deck chairs, enjoying the jacuzzi or just enjoying the scenery/ reading a book in the little wooden patio behind the pool. A poolside bar and a gym was on the same floor. Oh yes! If you're staying on a mid-higher floor, u get a nice pool view and the Bangkok skyline.
To BTS, from the lobby, just walk out to the main road, turn right walk a little further, there's a massage shop, cross the road to the left and just continue ahead. After u walk past 7-Eleven (where u can stock up on water and snacks in the hotel mini-bar), u won't miss the station; everybody is heading there. Oh yes, u'll see the Victory Monument roundabout too.

Century Park Hotel Bangkok
The Century Park hotel is a very nice hotel in the centre of Bangkok. It's located in the Pratunam Victory Monument area of Bangkok, and is approximately 12 miles from Bangkok International Airport.
The look and atmosphere here is rather luxurious. The rooms are in perfect shape, as is the rest off the hotel. They have a small but beautifull swimmingpool at the 5th floor with a splendid vieuw on the skyline of Bangkok. After a long and hot day off sightseeing it's nice to have a good cooldown splash at the pool.
Also the restaurants at the hotel are very good. For breakfast you can choose from a large buffet: asian or western food. It's hard to make a choice because it is huge. They have 6 different kinds of eggs for example. When you eat lunch or diner at the hotel you can choose the Italian restaurant (Roberto) on the second floor or the retaurant (cafe at the park) downstairs where you can eat a la carte or take from an international buffet. When you get the munchies in between you can always get something to eat at the garden terrace (on the 5th floor near the pool) or at la patisserie (in the lobby). And if you want to eat out there is also plenty of choice in the neighberhood.
When you are planning to do some sightseeing, you can book guided tours on the frontdesk in the lobby of the hotel. Also when you need a taxi or tuk tuk you can ask here for it.

Century Park Hotel
We have stayed at the Century Park Hotel twice over the last 2 years.
The hotel is beautiful and features 380 rooms and suites. There is a small but lovely swimming pool and a well equipped gym with massage facilities.
Both times we have stayed in a junior suite which has a seperate bedroom, loungeroom and marble bathroom and is very spacious. The junior suites are tastefully decorated and have all the facilities you would need, eg in room safe, 2 televisions tea/coffee making/ high speed internet access, hari dryers, toiletries.
The Seafood Dinner Buffet is amazing, fresh, tasty seafood beautifully presented and you won't be disappointed in the Breakfast Buffet with its wide variety of hot and cold dishes.
The hotel is in the Bangkok City Centre and there are many restaurants, banks, ATM's and shops only a few minutes walk away.
The nearest Mrt is the Victory Monument station which is about 10 - 15 minutes walk away. (there are also some little markets on the way to the station).
We thoroughly recommend staying at Century Park Hotel, the service is excellent and all staff are very friendly and attentive. Great value for money!!!!

Average Hotel in Average Location
Decent enough hotel with reasonable rooms, although the staff could do with being a little more helpful.
The pool and gym were fine and not too busy.
Despite what is reported on some of the hotel booking website, it is not particularly well located for the sky-train - it is at minimum a 10 minute walk to Victory Monument.
I usually rate a hotel based upon whether I would return, and in this case there is nothing that would make me rush to go back.
Unique Quality: Great burgers in the groundfloor lobby cafe.

RE: century park hotel
Hi! I just stayed there less than two weeks ago. I can certainly recommend it as it may be the best hotel I ever stayed in. Great rooms, great food (after the breakfast buffet you won't need lunch), an outdoor pool area on the fifth floor level, a free gym, good location a few minutes walk from Victory Monument Sky Train station, hmm, what else? Friendly staff of course. Royal treatment.
