Old Hotel
I stayed a few hours in this hotel but didn't sleep here which is good because even if the hotel looks nice from the outside; the hallways reek of smoke, the room where we stayed at look newly-restored but I saw a cockroach (yikes), the bed sunk when I tried to lie down.
This hotel is far from the city center and the area experiences monstrous traffic jam during rush hour. This bad traffic is the reason why the hotel concierge suggested that we take a boat ride (30 mins.) to get to Pratunam (shopping area where MBK is) instead of a taxi. That boat ride advice we didn't heed so we endured sitting in the taxi for over an hour not to mention that we had to wait for 30 minutes for a city center taxi to take us to this hotel.
Unique Quality: Near a stadium and internet shops (10 B per hour)

I need to stay in a hotel nearest possible to The Mall Bangkapi, Ladprao Road, Klongchan Bangkapi. Try to google but rather confusing. Help!

Unless The Mall Bangkapi is the sole destination of your Bangkok visit, you would probably be better off staying closer to downtown and taking a taxi out there..
The Mall is a bit out in the sticks.

I've not had a reason to head to Bangkapi, but on my Bangkok map the Alexander Hotel is marked as being close to The Mall - the hotel has a website:

Well The Mall Bang Ka Pi is quite close to where i live :)
There is a small hotel about 500 Baht per night,looks fine from outside,not sure about the rooms.But just about 500 meters from The Mall,opposite site,I can't remember the name :( something with Asia...
I will try to find out the name and their number for you.
or maybe The Chaleena Hotel Bangkok in Ramkhamheang soi 65,you can take a boat from the hotel to The Mall Bangkkapi,about 5 mins
other hotels in this area Inn Come Suite Hotel Bangkok in Lad Prao Soi 112.
Ibis Huamark Bangkok right next to The Mall Ramkhamheang,about 10 mins to The Mall Bangkapi by boat.
and also Alexander Hotel on Ramkhamheang Raod.

Agree with last post,I recommend Chaleena Hotel more easy to go to The Mall but I don't want to go by boat.
