Budget hotel in Chinatown, Bangkok

Unique Quality: A well hotel with over 70 years history that is popular to budget travellers of overseas Chinese from Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia.

The staff can speak Chinese. Room furnishing are old and some cheaper rooms have no windows.

Buffet breakfast with Chinese and Thai dishes are good. Internet service in the lobby.

Location is in the heart of Chinatown and so you can great Chinese food, including bird nest soup and barbecue seafood in the street stalls at night right outside the hotel.

Walking distance of 15 minutes to Hualumpong train station and MRT station. Because when crossing the roads, the traffic in Chinatown is heavy.

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Budget Hotel in Chinatown, Bangkok

Hotel with over 70 years of history. Popular with Chinese speaking tourists from different countries, Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia as the hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok Chinatown along the famous Yaowaraj Road.

Hotel reception staff can speak Mandarin. There is also Chinese style buffet breakfast included.

We stayed there because it was very budget and only 5 minutes walk to main railway station to get daily to Pratunam where the Asian Games was held.

At night, there are many restaurants selling bird nest soup as as street stalls selling barbecued seafood and noodles.

Walking distance of 15 minutes to Hualumpong train station and MRT station. Because when crossing the roads, the traffic in Chinatown is heavy.
