    Friendly staff with excellent facilities

    by

The room is very spacious and clean with a 2-seater couch, 1 metre bath tub, hairdryer, dressing table, safe, mini-bar and a king-sized bed. But please do not watch the movies as each movie will cost you 450 baht. The hotel has four choice restaurants and the quality of the food is good and prices are reasonable for the standard. It also has a gym and business centre. I booked the room at USD60 that do not include breakfast. This price is rare as the normal rate is about USD110. You can keep a lookout on the website for this price as they normally offered it about 2- 3 days before the beginning of your stay.

Unique Quality: The staff is very friendly and is always smiling. They will recommend you the price that you should pay for taxis from the hotel to any popular location. This is helpful so that you will know if the taxi drivers go for a huge detour. The breakfast spread is very good as it gives you a variety of western and local cuisine. It will cost you about Baht 350. On sundays, there are activities and programs planned out for kids. Beside the hotel, there is a shopping mall named 'Secon Square'. There are many stalls at the top level selling local products from handicrafts to souvenirs. Prices are quite reasonable and you can bargain with the stall holders. There is a "playland" for kids in the mall. It is also beside Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC) and is good for businesses trip too.

Directions: Alight at "ON NUT" skytrain station and take a taxi to the hotel. It should cost you about 70 Baht. From the airport, it will cost you about 450 Baht with the toll charges included in it.

The Best Value for money in Pratunam

by TripAdvisor Member TXMsia

Brand new /small hotel -Citin Pratunam located a little bit off the main road in a central district of the city(Pratunam Area) .
The staffs ot the hotel is always very friendly, politely, lovely.
Arrive with greeting and warm welcoming.
Check in speed very fast and smooth .

Every thing is ok , Big LCD Television , Comfortable bed , nice bathroom.
Free internet usage .

The rate of the hotel is also very great, cheap and affordable.

The Only thing i dislike is the view of the room.
The view from the window is very bad and nothing to see.
Ugly roof, nothing to see from the window .
But is ok for me.

Would recommend to people this hotel if they are going to Pratunam Area.

Good if you're in the Pratunam area. Hard to find.

by TripAdvisor Member W13

This hotel is terribly difficult to find the first time around. I had to use my hand-held GPS phone to track myself on Google maps... and walk to the hotel because the taxi driver was so confused he just dropped me in front of Baiyoke Sky hotel.

Unless you're doing heavy shopping in the Pratunam area specifically, then I recommend you stay elsewhere.

This hotel has one purpose and one purpose alone: shopping hot spot. I would recommend it for anybody in the wholesale business, or generally anybody that goes to Bangkok for the best bargains.

If you're going to be going on tours, gogo bars, clubs, restaurants, or require peace and quiet and cleanliness, then stay away from Citin Pratunam!

Great Shopping Spot and Budget Honeymoon..

by TripAdvisor Member MKINA98

My hubby and i stayed in Citin Pratunam and find it very pleasant stay.. The room so clean and the staff so friendly and well service orientated.. I love the people there.. As it is our 1st time holiday to bangkok, we really love it.. We walked out of the hotel its Pratunam market which we already started shopping.. But the only not quite convenience is for transport to come right to our doorstep as the road so small and we have to stop in front of opposite of Prantip Shopping Centre to walk into the hotel. And when we say out to the driver they don't know where the location is.. Lucky there is a signage of Citin Pratunam to help us a bit to walk right in to the hotel.. Niway so far overall the hotel is a great place to stay even though i asked for smoker & a bathtub room but they gave me non-smoker and no bathtub room instead.. Well, its ok as long we get to enjoy our holiday, honeymoon & shopping spree happily and satisfied thats all matter..

Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great Location, Excellent Experience

by TripAdvisor Member oldirtybuff

The Citin Pratunam is an absolute gem in the wilds of Bangkok. Situated in the heart of the Pratunam market area, this hotel is an oasis from the heat and chaos of Bangkok.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and were quick to attend to any needs. The rooms were immaculate with huge beds, a great large LCD TV, free WiFi internet and cool Aircon. The bathrooms were clean and stylish as was the rest of the room. The hotel is stylish and modern with the Thai twist. The hotel also can handle airport transfers for you at reasonable prices.

And the best part above all that I've already stated is the price. You cannot beat the Citin hotel in Pratunam. I give my full endorsement to this great budget hotel.

Can't wait to stay again!

Dear all citinpratunam staff,

We just came back from Bangkok & we would like the thank all the staff at Citin Pratunam.
We highly recommend the Citin Pratunum in Bangkok. It is a very reasonable priced, modern, clean hotel with good service and well organised rooms with all basic amenities. Our arrival at the hotel was pleasant and we were warmly greeted with lots of smiles we were made to feel important and welcome our booking in procedure was brief and professional and to the point a pleasant surprise awaited us when we opened the door to our room and saw how spacious and tactfully decorated. For the food wise i not that satisfy , need to be improve. & so with your hotel location map.
We definitely will come back.
U all done a great job.

In great spot for shopping and eating

by TripAdvisor Member LozzaMelbourne

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in January after a tour and before leaving for Singapore. It's in a little side street, in the middle of a maze of streets full of shops and stalls and right near the Pratunam market. We enjoyed lots of shopping and there are many cheap local eating places around the streets as well as western fast food places near the big hotels. The staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel was new last October so the rooms are modern and comfortable and the bathrooms very nice. The beds were the most comfortable we had on our whole 3 week trip. We were a bit concerned as the included breakfast was vegan but there was lots of food to choose from and everything was appetising. On the last morning we were leaving before breakfast started and they kindly gave us a breakfast box each with toast and fruit to take to the airport. The concierge was helpful in finding someone with a van to take the 6 of us to Dreamword for a fair price. We only paid about $60 Aus per night which was great value for such a clean and comfy hotel room, even had flat screen TVs in the rooms. There is no pool but for comfort and a good spot for eating and shopping I would highly recommend the Citin Pratunam.

clean and affordable

Overall rating is very satisfactory. Probably the newest and tidiest room you can find at thb1300 in Pratunam area. Room size is a bit small but still ok considering the price of thb 1300 promo with 2 twin beds. If purpose of trip is for shopping this is the best place since you'll just go home at night to sleep, note that they have free tuktuk ride. Clean room/lobby/hallway, modern design, loved the lcd tv, shower was ok, never ran out of hot water. Above all, though hotel has few staff, was amused with the bellboy/ tuktuk driver/greeter/ security...these guys can do multi-tasking, would go out of their way to help the guests. Location may not be convenient at night, just don't feel safe in the surrounding area. Also, hotel must add more food choices specially for those who are not vegetarian. Anyway, there are a lot of fastfood/ stores in the area, can easily buy instant food.
Very satisfied with my stay..hope you can maintain the cleanliness and odor-free rooms.
