Another new Dynasty Inn Hotel - Darwin
by gaolei about The Darwin Bangkok
The newest hotel in the Dynasty Inn chain just opened in September, 2008 on Soi 4. Like all Dynasty Hotels this one offers a guest friendly, good room at a more reasonable price than surrounding hotels. The rooms are a little smaller than the Dynasty Inn Grande, but still ok. The standard room has a queen bed and flat screen LCD TV. The floors are tile and wood, and the bath is all tile. It is very clean and comfortable. The location is 100 meters past the intersection of soi 4 and 6. It is close to the "entertainment" area, shopping and the Skytrain.

I flew to Thailand on KLM which flew manchester to Amsterdam then onto Bangkok, Excellent flights no delays short transit times which was the main reason that I chose them as Emirates etc had long stop overs between flights KLM did not.
Photo of the 747/400 called KARACHI that took us to Thailand taken from the departure lounge at Schipol

Hi, must be a small room, sounds like a Japanese bedroom. I woould look elsewhere. Check the Asia Hotel for reasonable price for tourist class hotel, photos on my Bangkok pages.

How much do you want to spend per night for a room?
RE: RE: Hotel

Up to A$100 or close to

At around $100 a night that is luxury pricing!
Check out the Landmark Hotel on Sukhumvit Road and the Amari Boulevard Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 5. Both hotels are located not too far from the Nana Skytrain stop and lots of restaurants, bars, street vendors, travel agencies, shops and malls.
Keep in mind that hotels at HALF the price you want to pay will have hot water, private toilet, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, security boxes, etc. Lots of cheap hotels in Thailand.

Forgot this reply.
I have been in lots of cheap hotels over the years, usually in the 350 baht to 750 baht range (with A/C, private toilet, hot water, etc.) and all of them have been bigger than 6 X 4 foot! This could be simply a typo!

6 x 4 sounds like the size of a mattress (aka bed) not the (bed) room.
If they have messed up on quoting the size of the room you may want to check they haven't ballsed up the name of their hotel. If it is the Dynasty Inn and not the Dynasty Inn Grande you will have a fab time watching the walks of shame from the lift across the lobby every morning.
6 x 4 metres may be more like it chum.
